February School Vacation

We wanted to remind you that the BECC is closed the week of February 15, 2016 for school vacation.  We will reopen on Monday, February 22, 2016.  Enjoy your week!

Code Blue Practice Drill

Today (February 11, 2016) during our morning preschool session, we had a practice run of our Code Blue Lockdown Procedure at the preschool and high school which we are mandated to have.  It was short and went very well, but we wanted you to be aware of it incase your child wants to talk about it with you.  Each individual classroom has practiced for fire and code blue drills throughout the year to prepare for whole school drills like today.  If you have specific questions, please feel free to contact your child’s teacher or myself.

Delayed Opening Guidelines for the BECC

As the weather forecast has changed for tomorrow (Friday February 5th), we want to remind you of the BECC guidelines on the chance there is a delayed opening.

Whenever there is a two-hour delay all AM sessions are cancelled.

If your child is in the Cub Cadets with Lisa B. or the Kinderstars with Erin your child will have school from 10:30 to 12:30.

If your child participates in a full day program in the Puppy Pals, Busy Bees, Leaping Lizards, or Barnyard Buddies, they will have school starting at 10:30. Only the children that attend for a full day in these classrooms will come in on delayed openings. If your child is dismissed at 11:30, they do not attend on delayed openings.

The afternoon sessions will run as scheduled from 12:30-2:30.

** If there is a delay on a Friday, no students will attend on that day, except for the Kickstart Kinderstar Students.**
